Google:Default Browser Search Engine and Address Bar Search Engine setup in Firefox/mozilla

To setup google as a default browser search engine:

1. go to address bar and type about:config

2. check the pop-window and click ok to edit it

3. search for the string :  "browser.search.defaultenginename"

4. Then select the parameter and then double click on it or press right button on it to change to google

5. Write down "google" in it set as your default search engine and press ok

6. Also select the order of the search engine: set google as your number 1 search engine by changing the parameter "browser.search.order.1"  and set to Google just like before

7. Now you can  open new tab or restart browser to see it's working or not.



To setup google as a default browser search engine in address bar:

1. go to address bar and type about:config

2. check the pop-window and click ok to edit it

3. search for the string :  "keyword.URL"

4. Then select the parameter and then double click on it or press right button on it to change to google

5. Write down any of the URL below in the window appear  and press ok

or if you want any other search engine in your address bar then use like below:

6. Now you can  open new tab or restart browser to see it's working or not.
